On your 4th Birthday

Created by Wumi Amodu 10 years ago
And so I went to bed yesterday heavy and cried myself to sleep, I woke up this morning worse! It’s been four years since you were born and I tried to remember the excitement of going into hospital, even though in pains, couldn't wait to see you! Little did I know what the outcome was going to be. I can’t get the feeling out of my head! Seeing you after you were born and heaving a sigh of relief! Oh at last! Then the journey began!!!! A journey that was going to last for 79 days! A journey indeed! God carried us throughout the journey. He gave us strength and hope! Yeah hope! Hope that no matter what happened he will always be there for us. Hope that He is the Lord of all storms. Hearing God speak to me saying Be still and know that I am God gave me HOPE! Hope not as I wanted it but as my God wanted it. It’s been tough, it’s been hard but what can we do except to hold on to the Author and the Finisher of our Faith. We miss you today and will always miss you. Daddy said this morning that he was happy to have known you, to have carried you in his arms, to have changed your nappies etc etc. What and who on earth would have thought it was going to end the way it did. Well that’s life. Continue to rest in the Lord your God, the beginning of all beginnings, the Almighty Almighty! The unquestionable, the Unshakable, the Unmovable, the immovable, the Unwavering, the Unlimited God till we meet to part no more. Sun re o Oluwabusayo, TiOluwani, Motunrayo, Grace, Omotayo Amodu
