From Fisayo

Its been 8 years since you left but it still feels like yesterday. We still remember your little body in the hospital bed- so small, so loved, and so so fragile. I wasn’t there to say goodbye to you and for that I will always be regretful, but we were sisters, connected past death and I know that even now you are smiling down on us all, blessing us, the angel that you are and were always destined to be.

Life without you takes getting used to, but we know that we must all go on. Imagine Busayo, 8 years old already! Going to school, making friends, growing up and getting your hair done. But even though we didn’t get to enjoy that with you and you aren’t here to do all that we cannot allow ourselves to be sorrowful. The time we spent with you 8 years ago was special, we got to see you, hold you, love you. 

I just hope you knew you were loved.

I just pray that all the pain and sadness is gone from you now, as you are in a better place. You’re with God, you’re with the angels, you’re with Mother Mary and Jesus and you’re not lonely. You’re with grandma. She’s lovely isn’t she? One day we’ll be with you- we’ll be a family again as we always have been in spirit. Mummy can hold you and daddy can raise you and I can give you all the hugs I never got to give. We can tell you we love you. We really really love you sis. Time goes by and we can’t stop loving you - we won’t stop loving you, we’ll bever forget about you. We can’t forget about you. You’re a sister, a daughter, a friend, a beautiful baby.

Thankyou for coming into our lives Busayo. Thankyou for being who you were and who you still are - a ray of hope and a ray of light. You bought newness to our world. I’ll always have a little sister , mummy and daddy will always have beautiful baby daughter called Busayo, Grace. You live on even though you aren’t here. Sending all our love to you 💖
