The word of the Lord says "Even to our old age and grey hairs "I am He", I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you: Isaiah 46:4. Never will there come a time when God will not be there for us. When God says "Never will i leave you; never will i forsake you, He means just that, NEVER! I am a testimony that the Lord is God and that the Lord is good. When Busayo was ill, i was so scared, i thought i was going to die if anything should happen to her. I thought my whole world would come crushing down! God must have been smiling, looking at me and saying, I will sustain you. That exactly He has done. He has been there for my family and I. My life looked like a tangled mass of threads but He turned the mass into a beautiful tapestry, the One who manages the universe with such skill and care spoke to me, lifted me up from the mud, turned my beauty into ashes. Be still and know that I am God, those words He spoke to me 2 weeks before Busayo died. I did not understand those words then. Just reading those words now makes me pause and take a deep breath. What would happen if i stopped a bit longer and really let that thought penetrate my life. There is no command in the Bible that is so difficult to obey and so penetrating in power as the command to be still. The Lord spoke to my husband the week Busayo died. He thought it was a dream but he was wide awake - He could not move, he wanted to ask questions but his lips were tight. He heard the Unquestionable God clearly. He told him why He took Busayo! I remember my husband asking me why God chose Him and not me. Well He knows! One of the Pastors at RCCG House of Praise visited and told us God showed him a vision, Busayo was in pains, then came a beautiful jeep and an Angel inside, the Angel took her into the jeep and they drove off. Both the Pastor and i thought God delivered her from dying but a week later, she went to be with the Lord. Then the true meaning of the dream came to light. His creator took her away, away from the pains and troubles of this world. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are different from ours.
